Testimony: New Country, New Start

Dear Help 4 Hopeless Team,

My name is Dok. One year ago, I arrived in the United States from Cambodia as a refugee. I had no family or friends here, and everything was unfamiliar and overwhelming.

That’s when I met Maria, a staff member of Help 4 Hopeless. Over the past year, she has helped me in so many ways — finding a job, driving me to medical appointments, assisting with my green card application and other important documents. When I had no means to support myself, Help 4 Hopeless provided financial support that helped me survive during a very difficult time.

I am deeply grateful to every member of the mission for the time, effort, and resources you invested in me. Your help has made it possible for me to stand on my own feet and begin building a new life in a new country.
