Testimony: When Compassion Opens Doors - Oksana’s Story

Dear friends at Help4Hopeless,

From the bottom of my heart, I want to express my sincere gratitude for the invaluable help you gave to me and my daughter Veronika during the most difficult time in our lives.

When we arrived in Krakow, fleeing from the war, we had no idea what lay ahead. Finding ourselves in a refugee camp, we felt fear, uncertainty, and complete confusion. It was at that moment that God led us to you.

Your support, care, and involvement became a true miracle for us. Thanks to you, we were introduced to Naomi from Ireland — a person with a huge heart who was willing to open her home to us. The process of relocation was long and difficult: waiting, messages, phone calls, interviews at the embassy… There were many doubts and fears, but you were always by our side.

On May 11th, Veronika and I arrived in Ireland — a country where a new chapter of our lives began. Here, we feel safe and surrounded by warmth. And all of this became possible because of your dedication, compassion, and faith.
